IR
Touch
First class materials.
Tailor made sound absorption.
The
new suburb of Saunalahti wanted its first public building to have a
recognizable identity of its own as well as a natural and durable
implementation from the viewpoint of its activities and the environment.
IR
Touch was designed for use as the surface material for closets located
between two parts of the daycare unit in collaboration with an
architectural firm.
The model was intended to be as sound absorbing as possible, and at the same time unique.
The IR Touch model was developed during the course of this project.
In the IR Touch model the profile, installation as well as the openings specified for acoustic requirements are constants.
The pattern and size of the panels can be customized to fit the space and surroundings.
