The
nude woman in Manet’s painting “The Luncheon on the Grass” has always
captivated the attention of viewers. I wanted to turn the idea around,
so that the mademoiselle gazes at the viewer: this time nudity is
meaningless. So are the gentlemen, which I have depicted hazily in the
background. The wooden relief figures cover the mademoiselle so when
you walk by she appears momentarily, only to disappear back into the
shadows of the wooden surface.
The design of an IR Touch acoustic
wall panel can be modified in a variety of ways.
